even in games where money is fairly easy to come by (wow for one) the gold market was incredible on most servers because it is sooo much easier to punch in your credit card than take an hour to farm now and again.
ultimately the actual "crime" doesn't matter to me either, I'm opposed to cheating in any form in any game including solotaire, and that's my thing, which if it isn't someone else's choice, sobeit, but I can choose to make other friends too.
the thing that gets me riled is this "we have to save the world from cigarettes/fat foods..." this new secular morality which has replaced the old religious morality of another age... it's about control, plain and simple, not helping anybody, if they wanted to save lives they'd make better cars adn better doctors, both kill more people than lung cancer and heart disease combined every year
buuut it is so much more fun to control people from thier own choices than do what logic dicates and the numbers support...and it's so much easier to hang the gold farmers than the gold buyers (see it wasn't a complete non sequitor
