Absoloutly not at all.

Dont put anything into INT or Wisdom!..

For goodness sake LOOK at the starting attributes of the paladin!

http://www.vanguardspheres.com/wiki/Paladin

Strength: 35
Constitution: 50
Dexterity: 40
Vitality: 35
Intelligence: 35
Wisdom: 25

there is a very good reason that the paladin class STARTS with bonus CONSTITUTION!!

Your a tank!.. the paladin tank is a constitution tank it gives bonus's to resistances!.. this is the most important thing for the paladin. and its why it starts with 50 CON

Next up is DEX, this give you chances to block dodge and parry!.. again, damaged avoidance..

Now look at the rest of the stats.. they are ALL 35! except wisdom which is 25!!.. so wisdom is the LEAST important thing to a paladin.

like with any game you CANT be a "jack of all trades".. the very best characters are those who are brilliant at one thing!

Dont bother with strength either, your not there to do damage, thats what the damage class is for

Now... there maybe times when you want to do damage, there maybe times when you want to be a healer!... this is where your armor comes into play! and the bonus's that they have. Also there are several different buffs you can use

I cant remeber the specifics but with the paladin there is a buff which increased your strength, but you cant use this at the same time as a defensive buff.. so if your in a group with lots of healers and you dont need to worry about tanking, the use the strength buff.. put away that sheild and take out your best doublehanded axe.

The point is, assign your attributes points to things which your character is naturally good at, then use buffs, armor jewely and all those other things to mould you character for the situation required.

Just like you have a wardrobe at home full of different cloths for different situations so must your character have a wardrobe of different armors for different situations.

Hope this helps
