Exactly right, Nil. You /petition to the GMs to get help retrieving your stone, but you /bug the incident and facts surrounding it.
In EQ (about 2 yrs ago), I lost my items in a bad raid. It took 2 weeks, but my items were returned to me. It had to do with graphix glitches and a bugged zone, so it took a while, but I got them! Some of my friends pitched in and loaned me some things to wear in the meantime. So, 3 or 4 days isn't the end of the world, really, but that's why the "unnecessary" petitions need to stop, so they
can help folks like you better! I'm sure the GMs would love to help everyone as fast as they can and in the best way they can. We just have to help them do that.
