Grinding is only grinding if you treat it that way. If you rely only on the Taskmaster's standing in the crafting area of your city you will miss a whole source of XP and adventure. I am talking about other not so obvious taskmasters. There are many spread all around the world. Some of them are even quest givers that require you to travel and perform work orders to get the items needed for the quest.
They are great XP, at L10 I got 10% from doing one part of the quest. The adventure started in Leth Nurae and had me travel to Tursh and Bordinar's Cleft to gather the items to finish the workorder/quest I was given. I had to do 1 work order in each location to secure the materials to complete the original Work Order in Leth Nurae.
Will it seem like a grind if you stand in one place repeating the same thing over and over? Sure, but that's your fault not the games.
