I like my warrior. I've played my warrior and a ranger so I could start on Thestra with my friend. My ranger was definitely doing good damage. But so has my warrior and he can take more hits.
I wasn't a huge fan of the light fighter classes as their damage wasn't THAT much better than a warrriors. I love being the most damage dealing heavy fighter class. Of course we are gear dependant... But that means with good gear, we can be even stronger, in my opinion.
