Today doing a quest from Beacon of Al<mumbles> given by some crazy Gnomish (redundant, I know) Archaeologist... Find Apenlippe's body and journal - from 2/6 (1737) patch notes:

Looted the body for the update but no journal appears in the empty loot screen.
Bummer, we went all the way in looking too... till the sleeping dragon guy, woulda been nice to make that progress on the next step instead...
