Suggestions for Diplomacy (Long)
OK - I finally made it to 201 skill and think its time to voice my opinions.
All the diplomacy quests are aimed at getting new cards or new diplomacy clothing. It seems to be an isolated sphere. While crafting certainly helps out the adventurers, diplomacy only seems to help out in diplomacy (not counting the effort needed to get the zone wide buffs, which are awesome - but temporary). Even the horse is slower than the one everyone can buy.
Also, a notebook or some sort of bag that would hold and keep track of all the rumors, heresay and evidence would be great. Considering that I have tons of essential information (which is not being accepted by any of the informants), my bank is starting to fill up with junk I hope to use someday.
Finally, a wardrobe of some sorts would be nice. I find I have to carry around a bag and a half of clothing since the presence requirements on the quests are so high. Something that I would be able to store and mark as "noble outfit" or "domestic outfit", so I wouldn't have to go searching through my bags everytime I wanted to switch to a higher presence. Also, the weight on some of the clothing items is a bit high. All of the diplomacy earrings/necklaces weigh more than the platemail I am wearing. Come on! I don't have the strength to parley in 6 pounds of earrings!
If possible, it would also be nice to have an option to have the opponent's diplomacy skill and type (domestic, noble, etc) float above their head, rather than having to walk up to everyone and click civic diplomacy to see who and what they are. Its public information anyway, this would make it much easier.
Finally, is there a way to make the map customizable by sphere for us? I would like to be able to have 3 different maps for each sphere and be able to mark each one seperately. Adventurers could mark where their dungeons are and other important landmarks. Crafters could mark harvesting hotspots and diplomats could mark their favorite npcs to grind on in each city.
