I realized after the fact that posting my frustration here even in such a small way probably isn't the best idea. I keep hearing, in-game and out, how difficult crafting is and how it doesn't get any results anyhow. I know that you are aiming for the improvement of the system, but other people just want to trash it altogether.

You are right, though: If everyone who tried could do it, it wouldn't be worthwhile.
