Actually, that comment earlier about 'chunks' may be something...

If it is intended as a risk v reward thing, maybe the chunk 'level' has some influence?

I mean it is one thing to try at least. Try running to VoH and going on the hill to right as u entering zone keeping that orientation of the Gnoll encampment in the 'green' area. I've seen cotton there in beta - haven't really looked recently as last time was in chunk I wasn't up to cotton yet. I am now (and have harvested in Veskals for skill points)

If that is so, it is probably a coding thing and GMs would have no clue that was intended. Let us know.

(Though since no one else is experiencing this and POSTING, I suspect it has to do with the books - IF you read the books before the right point and it was bugged enough to let you. It is not logical to think no other harvester has tried to level on cotton near home but it is logical to think less would have read an amatuer book before they were in spitting distance of that level.

For the record, I carried the next level books (100) with me and read them as soon as the skill hit 100 exactly, never even thought to try before the max level but that makes sense, in other games you would train JUST before the top of the tier...)(
