I wish Vanguard had started their games with empty vendors, or rather vendors which only sold the bare-bones newbie equipment. SWG started their markets that way and as a result, crafting instantly became part of the community. The only way to get higher-end items was to buy them from crafters. So far, it appears to be more important to get things in loot... and thus the entire market system is on the back burner. The only problem there, is that if the community gets used to loot drops as the primary means of advancing their equipment, they won't bother to check the market when it IS finally addressed.
I think it's gonna be a lean couple of months for us crafters. Better stock up on the ramen noodles for now.
