What you are talking about are "Damanding Gloves". They are the first pair of gloves you aquire in your diplomacy quest line.

I do not like the idea of trading cards. I as a certain type of diplomat should not just be able to become another type by buying cards. It totally ruins race/class combos in my opinion. You will get more flexible as you progress.

Hence the reason I stated that race/class should give an automatic "buff" at the beginning of parley. Say you are a wood-elf shaman, which would give you race/class predetermination of demand/inspire. At the beginning of any converstation you would recieve 1 demand + 1 inspire. Thusly, my varanjar shaman, who is inspire/inspire would recieve +2 to inspire, making her less capable in convince type conversations, but allow her to better use her skill. I do not see how limiting the type of cards I can have better suit holding true to my race/class. If anything, what should change is my effectiveness when using those specific emotions. Maybe have certain cards that are "soulbound" and race/class specific that cannot be traded such as "Elvin Unity" and "Varanjarian Warcry", but I do not see why the generic cards that everyone can aquire could not be tradeable.
I have yet to come across a "Diplomacy Vendor", and starting off trying to get your strategy straight, especially with the lack of content at lower levels and the uber decks these NPCs pull out of their rears, I think this would be a nice feature. Maybe Im the only one, but just sharing my ideas. Diplomacy is far from "finished". There is still more left to do, and sharing ideas and what we want/like/dislike/dont want at this point only helps the team IMO.
