Have they just made weaponsmithing that much more unappealing in the latest patch?

Seems most crafted weapons have had a huge reduction in stats making them even harder to sell.

A grade A copper dagger had abo 5.5dps yesterday and today it's 2.27dps.
A grade A tin dagger was 9+ dps yesterday and now is 6.82 it seems (possibly higher when I reach the item level but can't tell since there's no longer a number in parenthesis)

What gives?
Anyone know what's going on?
