So I get in to work this moring at 8am. Check my email and resolve a few issues that were left for me from the night shift. That takes me to 9am.
I check VS, make a cup of tea and set about to investigating a windows server.
8 hours later I've done nothing but work on said windows server manually pulling out 12 trojans that AVG plain didn't report. As a result of said trojans configuring windows legitimate services depend on them to work I'm now duplicating the disk and looking at a reinstall of windows 2003.
My guess is I'll be working on the server until my shift ends at 8pm tonight and starting again at 8am tommorow.
Moral of the story: Don't use AVG, dont install RealVNC on your server. Or, don't voluntarilly look into interesting windows issues
Today has been sooooo draining and its not even over yet
