Crafting specializations

About the crafting specializations:

I'll quote a paragraph from Wikispheres:

Quote:
Outfitters work primarily with leather (leatherworker) and cloth (tailor). They make armor, the work clothing for harvesters and crafters, as well as normal clothing.

Leatherworkers make leather armor, leather gear, and saddlebags.

Tailors make cloth armor, cloth gear, and bags.
Does this work like in Horizons, or more accurately like in EQ2, where at one point you stop being the previous generic profession like Outfitter, and become a full-fledged Leatherworker or Tailor, or does one still need to keep raising his Outfitter skill because there are high-level Outfitter recipes?

For instance, to make a boat, I suppose on needs a sail. Will it be made by a Tailor (then the Wiki should add that to the description), or will one need to contact a high level Outfitter for his sails?

Also, who makes furniture? Some people say it's the carpenter, others that it's the Mineralogist (stone furniture). Both?

I really wish that Sigil published a complete Crafting professions breakdown, with at least the names of the recipes. I'd be really PO'ed if I figure out at one point that I have wasted my time on a profession I shouldn't have simply because Sigil hasn't published enough information and I had to take it from a site that was wrong.
