I believe that a naming policy is important. For reasons such as vulgarity and people wanting to be Spiderman or Hillary Clinton and other names that obviously do not belong in the game world. Also names that make up things like ben dover are not really that funny and have all been seen or heard somewhere else. Names including numbers and unreadable names are just not necessary.

Now for names like Ivan the Hammer or whatever else along those lines to me should be acceptable. This is a fantasy game and the name of it is Saga of Heroes and people who were heroes or well known bad asses of this fantasy time period certainely had names declairing them as such.
People naming their characters after NPC's doesn't bother me either because I'm sure that almost everybody out there has come across someone with the same name weather it be their first name last name or both. The world is simply to big not to have this happen here and there.

Names including titles such as military ranks or other made up ranks also should be allowed because they could be part of some character backstory.
They should definitely be allowed for guild members who want to display their standing in their guild.


It's a great idea to keep out the racial,vulgar,and obvious names that we have all seen and heard including the numbers and unreadables but it should not limit us to only real fictional/fantasy names.
