Just it would be nice however not to have specific mobs giving a specific % exp, and then you ruin faction by killing them depending on your race and eliminating them from your list for farming.

Diplomacy is going to drive the faction system from what I recall. Instead of relying on the adventuring sphere (hack and slash) to raise or lower your faction, diplomacy will be relied upon which makes alot more sense to me. I mean lets be realistic who's going to know if you kill a few hundred kobolds out in the wild with no one to see. Thats like asking if a tree falling in the woods makes a sound or not.
On the other hand alot of people are going to know if you make enemies in a city via your diplomacy. Word travels quickly there.
