Magic: The Gathering was a pretty complex card game for two people so I cant really go into it too deep or we'd be here forever. In short though it was a strategic turn based game where each player would build up their mana in several different pools and then use the mana to play other cards that used those pools. The first player to do 20 points of damage to the other player won the hand. There are literally thousands of different cards spread out across dozens of expansions in Magic: The Gathering.
