I believe in the presence of Auras wholeheartedly. Not only have they been proved to exist but they are even measurable and can be influenced conciously. The real question is whether or not a person has the ability to weild said aura to do *something*.
I have a neat viewpoint regarding magic in general whereby, under this belief, all the various facets of fantasy fiction you can read about could exist in some parallel dimension just out of our reach. There is enough support for the presence of other dimensions in physics that magazines, such as Astronomy Magazine, have done articles on the possibility.
If you are following what I've said so far, then you don't have to draw a far line to connect our world with another, through some form of phenomena (man made or naturally occuring.) Consider this and voila! Magic could exist (on some limited basis) and all this suddenly don't seem so unbelievable.
I hope that wasn't too deep. But then again, you did ask.
