It's fine. I'd rather have them change something that doesn't work than sticking with something that doesn't for the sake of it.
And actually... Having read about the whole SOE-publishing deal, I've come to understand that this is ultimately better for Vanguard. Matter of fact is that SOE can't touch the game - only the PR/billing/tech stuff is on their court now.
