Honestly the new deal doesn't really bother me as it seems like a good thing. The only thing that really bothers me about the new deal is that everyone is going around thinking it's the end of video games as we know it. Anyone who has followed the development of the game for a significant amount of time should know that Brad has been nothing but open and honest thus far so why should we doubt him now?

People really think this is somehow bad for the game really needs to think about it realistically. The real questions that need to be asked are:

What would Sigil gain by lying to us.

Why would Brad or anyone else at Sigil make such a descision if it wasn't in the best interest of the game?

Why would SoE have any say in how the game is developed if Sigil owns both the intellectual property rights and the publishing rights?

Really I think the doomsdayers need to stop predicting the end of the world and start looking at it from at it from a perspective that actually makes sense.
